The Sports Committee has been successful in organising a series of engaging and impactful events, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship, promoting physical fitness, and encouraging participation in various sports activities. - Multipurpose Turf Ground Inauguration: One of the significant accomplishments of the Sports Committee was the successful inauguration of the Multipurpose Turf Ground on June 19th 2022. This state-of-the-art facility has provided our students with a platform to engage in various sports activities and has enhanced their overall physical fitness.
- Marathon on Independence Day: In commemoration of Independence Day, the Sports Committee organised a marathon event. This event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students as it not only promoted a sense of patriotism but also encouraged a healthy and active lifestyle among the participants.
- Sports Day on National Sports Day and Birth Anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand: To honour the National Sports Day and celebrate the birth anniversary of the legendary sportsman Major Dhyan Chand, the Sports Committee organised a Sports Day event under the Amrut Mahotsav celebrations on 29th August 2022. The highlight of the event was the thrilling tug-of-war competition, which brought together students and teachers, fostering team spirit, camaraderie, and friendly competition.
- Josh Intercollegiate Sports Fest: The Josh Intercollegiate Sports Fest was a remarkable event that showcased the sporting talents of both our in-house students and participants from different colleges. Conducted from 23rd-25th January, it provided a platform for healthy competition and allowed students to exhibit their skills in various sports disciplines. The fest witnessed an overwhelming response, and participants excelled in their respective competitions, bringing home numerous prizes and accolades.
